NZ Sculpture OnShore 2021 Exhibition moves online

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – Exhibition To Move Online

After the tremendous effort and hard work of the last few months, we are sadly in the position of having to cancel our planned public exhibition at Fort Takapuna which was due to open in late October 2021. With the current lockdown situation and the future uncertainty around alert levels, the risk of proceeding with an exhibition of this scale and expense, is just too great.

Having already postponed the event by a year due to COVID-19, this is a huge disappointment for our team and sad news I’m sure, to you, too.

However, all is not lost! With many of the stunning sculptures completed, or close to it, we are now focussing on bringing you the artworks via other platforms and galvanising our supporter base to raise money for Woman’s Refuge.

Please be sure to read our up-coming newsletters! We will notify you of what form the online NZ Sculpture OnShore will take as soon as plans are finalised.

We send our heartfelt thanks to our patrons, event partners and our sponsors Fisher Funds, Perpetual Guardian, Hesketh Henry, and Harcourts Cooper & Co who are standing by us and keen to help out in any way they can.

Stay tuned as we build a digital exhibition and fundraising campaign, to generate much-needed revenue for Woman’s Refuge.

We sincerely thank you all for your support and encouragement.

Best Wishes

Dee Paranihi
General Manager, NZ Sculpture OnShore
