NZ Sculpture OnShore is a vibrant and engaging, must see, sculpture exhibition.

Fort Takapuna Historic Reserve, Devonport, Auckland, NZ

The exhibition is located at the stunningly beautiful Fort Takapuna, overlooking Narrow Neck beach in Devonport.

NZ Sculpture OnShore makes for a fantastic day out, with a cafe, children’s programme all on offer.

Sorry no dogs allowed

Due to the family environment and priceless artworks dogs will not be permitted at the event.

While visiting the exhibition, it is also a perfect opportunity to check out Devonport’s beautiful beaches, bustling cafe’s, museums and two volcanic cones.

You can travel to the exhibition by car, ferry, bus or bike. It is an easy location to travel to, you can drive along the picturesque peninsula to Devonport or jump on a ferry in downtown Auckland for the quick 12 minute ferry ride.

Travelling to NZ Sculpture OnShore

By car

Devonport is accessible via both the Northern and Southern motorways. Take the Esmonde Rd exit and follow the signs to Devonport, then Narrow Neck beach.

Car parking

There is plenty of parking on site at the event organised and run by Devonport Rotary. Parking in exchange for a small donation. Free Car Parking is available at Narrow Neck Beach reserve, with a two-minute stroll to Fort Takapuna.

By ferry

The Auckland ferry terminal is situated at 99 Quay Street, which is right at the bottom of Queen Street, with ferries leaving on the hour and half hour.

By bus via the ferry

Once you have arrived at the Devonport Ferry building, you can hop on the 813 bus which will take you around to Narrow Neck and the NZ Sculpture OnShore exhibition.

For the bike lovers, bring your bikes and go for a leisurely cycle around to the exhibition, taking in some of the fantastic scenery of Devonport. There is also bike hire and tours available from Cycle Auckland in the Devonport Ferry Building.
