The exhibition is located at the stunningly beautiful Fort Takapuna, overlooking Narrow Neck beach in Devonport.

The Gala Opening on Friday 2nd November offers a fabulous opportunity to have a preview of the exhibition, and to meet the curators and artists.

Open from 5pm-8.30pm, come along and enjoy the exhibition by twilight, share in a glass of wine from SOHO wines and great food from Jeremy Schmid of The Officers Mess Café.

$50 from each ticket sale goes to NZ Women’s Refuge.



Travelling to NZ Sculpture OnShore

By car

Devonport is accessible via both the Northern and Southern motorways. Take the Esmonde Rd exit and follow the signs to Devonport, then Narrow Neck beach.

Car parking

There is plenty of parking on site at the event organised and run by Devonport Rotary. Parking in exchange for a small donation. Free Car Parking is available at Narrow Neck Beach reserve, with a two-minute stroll to Fort Takapuna.

By ferry

The Auckland ferry terminal is situated at 99 Quay Street, which is right at the bottom of Queen Street, with ferries leaving on the hour and half hour.

By bus via the ferry

Once you have arrived at the Devonport Ferry building, you can hop on the 813 bus which will take you around to Narrow Neck and the NZ Sculpture OnShore exhibition.

For the bike lovers, bring your bikes and go for a leisurely cycle around to the exhibition, taking in some of the fantastic scenery of Devonport. There is also bike hire and tours available from Cycle Auckland in the Devonport Ferry Building.
