NZ Sculpture OnShore relies on a large team of dedicated, enthusiastic and talented volunteers. While some work behind the scenes, most are the public face of the event; providing information, sharing their experience of the art works and helping make visitors experience the "great day out" that so many people tell us they enjoy.
Being a volunteer is a fun, sociable activity; a chance to meet new people and work with old friends. It's not unknown for groups of volunteers to work together - particularly on the Front Gate - where the group can all share the same rostered shifts and not only enjoy each others company, but share transport to the event as well.
And of course volunteering supports a wonderful cause which changes the lives of vulnerable women and children in New Zealand.
There are many opportunities to become involved, particularly around the exhibition itself. If you would like to help, complete the form here and one of the volunteer co-ordinators will contact you.
