Collection: Belinda Fabris

Belinda is a sculptural artist using hand built and slab built clay as her primary medium. Her work is often figurative, where she looks to the familiar to draw attention to what lies deeper in the consciousness of the observer. She hopes her work reflects and questions the changes in personal, social, political, environmental and spiritual values in our society. Her characters are born with a birth certificate and a short story where she often utilises humour to add to her message and depth of character. 

Three significant milestones in her art career are 2015 first solo exhibition Waiheke Art Gallery, 2017 final year examination show Diploma of Arts, major ceramics and 2017 Finalist NZ Small Sculpture Awards - awarded People’s Choice Award.
